Capilano Estudio

Focuses mainly on artistic carving of glass with a contemporary flair, directly related and customized to project an appropriate image for the individual client. Thus, an original work in glass can be part of the solution to architectural needs with harmonious integration within each project.

Capilano Estudio also undertakes work for clients in Canada, the United States and Central America. A contact office and ancillary shop facilities are maintained near Vancouver on Saltspring Island, B.C., a major art work center.

The name of Capilano Estudio proceed of the same name river, a spectacular North Vancouver river flowing directly from the mountain snows and noted for the return of migratory salmon from great distances at sea. The stylized salmon, like the B.C. native indian carvings, relates to the courage and perseverance of the salmon in overcoming adversity to return to their birthplace to spawn.
